| Background | Salmonella typhi, the causative agent of typhoid fever, is a serotype of Salmonella enterica. It is transmitted by the faecal-oral route and is highly infectious. The main symptom of infection is a high fever of 39-40℃. Other symptoms include abdominal pain, severe diarrhoea, headache and rosacea, often called "typhoid fever", intestinal bleeding or perforation is its most serious complication. |
| Storage Condition | This product can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. This products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -80℃. Aliquot and store at -20℃ to -80℃. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles. |
